Requirement for CS Majors & Minors: Spring Structured Study Sessions
Do you want to Major or Minor in CS? Then you need S^4!
To register in CS110, Problem Solving with Data Structures and Algorithms, it is required to pass S^4, the Spring Structured Study Sessions. These sessions are designed to help students prepare for upper-division courses in computer science, covering fundamental CS topics such as CPU, binary, memory, OOP, variable scope and mutability, and more. Depending on your background, you may or may not have encountered these topics before, so we want to help bridge the gap and ensure you enter the CS Cores with confidence.
You can fulfill the requirements for S^4 by either passing a technical interview at the beginning of January or participating in sessions for 10 weeks of the spring semester.
Fill out this form by Monday, December 12, 11:00 pm to sign up for S^4.
You can find more info about S^4 at the bottom of this Hub page. Please read this carefully before submitting the form.
