CCP Event this Friday: Introduction to Library Research with Professor Karl

Published on October 23, 2022

This Friday, Prof Karl will lead a library research workshop that will be extremely helpful for your CCP project, in particular, the research synthesis that you are asked to produce for the Secondary Project Plan due in Week 11 (Nov 17). The workshop focuses on effective ways to do library research, including finding appropriate sources, making connections across sources and synthesizing the findings, and managing citations for numerous sources. You will have the opportunity to locate and organize additional sources, thus making progress on your CCP and honing your research management skills by working with Zotero. You can find more details and register on the event page: https://community.minerva.edu/networks/events/97108

Please note that there is some very short pre-class work to prepare for this session:

  1. Accept the invitation to your CCP Group Library that you have received via email. Create a Zotero account if you do not already have one.
  2. Go to the Zotero website and install the standalone app and the connector for your browser.
  3. Add a source that you have already located for your CCP Project to your CCP Group Library. Be sure to add a note/tag with your name.

The session will be held on Forum: https://forum.minerva.edu/app/courses/2537/sections/9581/classes/68716
