Making Major Decisions: Exploring and Declaring Your Minerva Major(s)

Wondering how majors work at Minerva? Curious about concentrations? Trying to figure out what major(s) to pursue? Over the next couple of weeks, Minerva faculty, The Coaching and Talent Development team (CTD), and Academics will be hosting sessions to learn more about majors, minors and concentrations at Minerva.

This document contains an overview of all sessions that will be hosted between Friday, Feb 19th and Friday, Feb 26th. You will sign up for the sessions on Portal. 

On Friday, Feb 19, we invite you to join Reed Cooper and CTD to learn how majors are designed, get advice on the major selection selection process, debunk some common myths (such as the value of triple majoring) and explore the relationship between majors and future careers. 

During the week of Feb 22, Minerva colleges will be hosting live panels with faculty to help you better understand each major, tracks and core course. 

By March 5, we ask you to submit your major(s) declaration form. Your declaration is officially due March 21.
